Towergate wins Transformational Deal of the Year at 2017 British Insurance Awards
Last night saw Towergate triumph at the 2017 British Insurance Awards where they took home the Transformational Deal of the Year Award.
Towergate were hailed for their transformation following the Group’s refinancing led by Highbridge Principle Strategies, allowing the Group to fix the fundamentals, build the business and grow organically.
With the financing enabling Towergate to stabilise their IT infrastructure, invest in a single Advisory policy administration system, and nurture a workforce dedicated to the future of the Group, the award recognises what’s already been achieved as they move onto a very exciting new chapter.
Group CEO David Ross said: “It’s great to see we’ve been recognised for the work we’ve been doing over the last two years to transform this organisation. What a brilliant surprise – we were so proud last night to pick up this trophy. It’s a testament to the dedication and resilience of our people. When you think about where our company was and where it is now, it’s quite extraordinary. And the best is yet to come.”
