Ardonagh announces internal senior promotions
- Jaime Swindle to joins Geo Underwriting leadership team
- Scott Bennett to become Managing Director of Bravo Networks
The Ardonagh Group today announces the promotions of two senior leaders within its platforms.
Jaime Swindle is joining the leadership team at Geo Underwriting to support the development of its UK commercial MGA proposition from 1 December. She will join Derek Coles’ executive committee and work alongside chief commercial officer Nick Sharp.
Geo Underwriting’s UK commercial specialisms include agriculture, construction, terrorism, sports, leisure and entertainment, marine trade and liability.
Scott Bennett will become Managing Director of Bravo Networks from 1 December.
Scott has worked with the networks for 13 years, most recently as Sales Director where he has built strong relationships with insurers and ran the networks’ community of Business Development Managers.
As MD he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the networks and report into Ardonagh Advisory Chief Commercial Officer* Phil Bayles.

MDS announces its first acquisition of a broker in Spain
The MDS Group (“MDS”), part of The Ardonagh Group, has announced it has agreed to acquire insurance broker Cobian Insurance Brokers (“Cobian”). Founded in 2018, and headquartered in Madrid, Cobian has a focus on commercial insurance, particularly in industrial risks, energy, construction and financial lines. Ardonagh Advisory today announces that it has agreed to acquire Rowett Insurance Broking Limited Rowett specialises in commercial, and personal insurance from its offices in St Austell and Plymouth, and its subsidiary company AGRi Insurance Facilities Ltd specialises in wholesale agricultural insurance running from its office in Darlington and their base in St Austell.
